1. What hours are Town departments open?

Open Hours for Town Departments

Town Hall Upper Level, 300 Tamalpais Drive:

Town Administration and Finance Department: Monday-Friday 8am-12pm and 1pm-4pm

Town Hall Lower Level, 300 Tamalpais Drive:

Planning Department: Monday-Thursday 8am-11:30am and 1pm-3pm, Closed to the public on Fridays

Building Department: Monday-Thursday 8am-11:30am and 1pm-3pm, Closed to the public on Fridays  (Note: Inspection appointments are available between 9am-12pm and 1pm-4pm Monday through Thursday)

Public Works/Engineering: Monday-Thursday 8am-11:30am and 1pm-3pm, Closed to the public on Fridays

Sanitary District No. 2: Monday-Thursday 8am-11:30am and 1pm-3pm, Closed to the public on Fridays

Community Center, 498 Tamalpais Drive:

Parks and Recreation Front Desk: Monday-Thursday 8am-5pm, Closed to the public on Fridays

4. What if I have a Public Works issue on the weekend?

If something comes up over the weekend, please call 415-613-5437. 

If you notice overflow of sewage from a manhole cover, overflow of sewage from a pump station location, or there is sewage smell coming from a creek or other body of water, please report it by calling the weekend issue number or Central Marin Police dispatch (415-927-5150) as soon as possible.
